About the Position: Serve as the Installation Maintenance Program Manager for Camp Stanley Storage Activity. Also serves as Motor Pool Manager responsible for daily operational management, organizational structure, responsible for strategic planning, accountable for managing multiple programs simultaneously to include vehicle transportation fleet, which is the lifeline of the installation mission success.
Duties
Write and implement maintenance policies that improves the maintenance program of the Installations overall mission.
Direct, coordinate, and oversee work through subordinate supervisor or in some cases directly with employees.
Review and analyze reports prepared by subordinates, identify trends, variations, discrepancies, deficiencies, improvements, etc., and determine if goals and objectives are met.
Maintain liaison with all supported elements and their customers.
Requirements
- Must obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
- This position is covered by the civilian drug abuse testing program. Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019, Condition of Employment for certain civilian positions identified as critical under the Drug Abuse Testing Program.
- Position is subject to pre-employment physical, position must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and able to sustain walking on hard surfaces for long periods, and in cases working in outside weather conditions.
- Supervisory probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes knowledge of maintenance programs which oversee operation and control and plan for the allocation of resources, distribution of funds, and use/disposition of property for specific maintenance program responsibilities; managing and directing an equipment maintenance, repair, and storage facility; performing personnel administration functions such as approving leave, preparing formal performance appraisals, and making recommendations for employee reassignments; providing advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
