Serves as the Manager within the Drug Abatement Division, Program Analysis Branch (AAM-810). Reports directly to the Division Director and provides direction, overall planning and oversight of the Program Analysis Branch.

Duties

Leads, manages and provides oversight of division/branch-related training, information technology, credentials, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, Management Information System (MIS), Quality Management System (QMS), Safety Management System (SMS), Strategic Initiatives, records retention, program and contractor registrations, inspection scheduling, voluntary disclosures, stakeholder feedback and inquiries.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-K (FG/GS-15) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J (FG/GS-14) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position to be filled, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes:Experience managing a diverse workforce and/or leading others, including planning and assigning work, project management, decision making, improving and controlling performance, selecting employees, and promoting Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), human relations, and employee participation.Experience performing program analysis and evaluating the impact and risk on programs, projects or work activities.Experience with using systems and database tools that support drug abatement compliance and enforcement tracking and inspections.Experience conducting project development and implementation activities.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.
