Qualifications
What are we looking for? Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Health field appropriate to Substance Abuse Prevention is required AND three years of experience that demonstrates extensive knowledge of alcohol/substance abuse prevention. Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health field is highly preferred. Ability to act as a responsible point of contact to ensure development of the alcohol/substance abuse prevention and intervention program to include research of operations. Must have comprehensive knowledge of alcohol/substance abuse prevention, substance abuse treatment programs and its effects on people. Skill to review, modify, develop, and implement alcohol/substance abuse prevention and intervention educational training programs that are timely, relevant to military commanders' needs, flexible and sustainable in execution. Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations as they pertain to alcohol/substance abuse. Knowledge of the military structure and environment preferred
