Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Intelligence Operations Specialist, you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Immediate Office of the Secretary to optimize business results and customer experience by: Coordinating strategic information and cyber intelligence programs and operations in support of the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and OPDIV/STAFFDIV senior leadership. Researching, reviewing, interpreting, evaluating, and integrating all-source intelligence data, and other sources of classified and unclassified data, plans, or products pertaining to public health in order to contribute to or independently produce oral and/or written briefing products for HHS policymakers. Coordinating, monitoring, and integrating specific trends and patterns in public health, global health diplomacy, terrorist, and international strategic information for the HHS Secretary, Deputy Secretary, ONS leadership, and key personnel. Representing ONS through liaison activity with other government entities and ensures that HHS remains aware of all public health, terrorist, global health diplomacy, international and other current strategic information and intelligence impacting the Department. Sharing information in the interagency intelligence-sharing framework and remaining abreast of current intelligence issues that impact HHS and its diverse areas of responsibility.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: A. Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service performing at least 3 of the following: 1) Researching, analyzing, and reporting on all-source intelligence data; 2) Monitoring trends and patterns related to intelligence and counterintelligence; 3) Preparing formal reports relating to threat intelligence; 4) Obtains, exchanges, and presents intelligence information to various stakeholders in the Intelligence community. OR B. I have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field directly related to the position. (You must submit supporting transcripts) OR C. I possess a combination of specialized experience as described in A and education as described in B that, when combined, equal 100% of the total requirement.
