Duties

Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, bended coffees, or teas. Take customer orders and covey them to other employees for preparation. Serve prepared foods, such as muffins, biscotti, or bagels. Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions. Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items. Order, receive, or stock supplies and/or retail products. Receive and process customer payments.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must complete Team Member Orientation training within 30 days of employment.
• This is a flexible position that there are no guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• This position requires long periods of standing. May be required to lift items up to 20 pounds.
• Must be available to work Community Events such as Winterfest, Freedom Fest, Oktoberfest, Industry Days, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements: There are no minimum requirements for this position. Best Qualified Criteria: At least 6 months working aa a barista at a coffee shop-OR-Possess customer service experience, experience working at restaurant, and cash handling experience. *Applicants meeting the minimum qualifications and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first*
