Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.FV-F: To qualify for this position at the FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess three (3) years of general experience of which at least one year of specialized experience was equivalent to FG/GS-4 level. Specialized Experience is: demonstrating the ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors; gather pertinent data; recognize solutions; plan and organize work and convey information.FV-G: To qualify for this position at the FV-G (FG/GS-10/11) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F, FG/GS-9 level. Specialized Experience is: experience applying management principles, methods, and techniques to solve the problems of the organization; experience with the general management of an organization; experience developing and securing for the fiscal and business resources and services needed to manage and operate an organization.FV-H: To qualify for this position at the FV-H (FG/GS-12) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G, FG-GS-10/11 level. Specialized experience is: experience applying management principles, practices, methods, and techniques to solve the problems of the organization; experience integrating management services with the general management of an organization; experience developing and securing the fiscal and business resources and services needed to manage and run an organization. Experience performing systematic general management reviews and audits to reach conclusions and make recommendations.Such experience may have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative or other responsible work. Experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical or other responsible work may be qualifying as long as the work experience provides evidence of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

Education

Substitution of education or equivalent combinations of education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Education substitution for FV-F: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree

Education substitution for FV-G: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.

There is no education substitution for the FV-H.
