About the Position: This position is with Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital located at Fort Johnson, Louisiana. The incumbent will manage the performance and appraisal system, providing technical guidance to the organization.

Duties

Review award submissions for accuracy. Prepare award certificates for appropriate signatures. Control the performance management system in order to provide technical guidance or support to the organization. Retrieve reports from performance and/or personnel systems. Prepare reports or written materials with grammatical accuracy and publication formatting Maintain employee roster to track appointment type and/or status. Coordinate attendance for ceremonies or award presentation.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Up to 5% Business Travel required.
  • Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
  • A Personnel Security Investigation is required.

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related degree program. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
