Duties

As a Director Operational Risk Analysis Division, you will: - Help ensure all key risks are effectively identified, measured, and managed. - Ensure that Ginnie Mae has developed and continues to maintain a robust corporate risk framework by working with the Chief Risk Officer to establish corporate-wide policies and procedures for risk management throughout the organization and mmonitoring aggregate risk and compliance with risk policies. - Plan, Organize, and direct major projects, studies and analyze corporate risk issues.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-15, the specialized experience is one (1) year of experience at the GS-14 level, or equivalent, which is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Specialized experience is defined as follows: - Experience in programs focusing on risk management issues; AND - Experience coordinating a variety of long-term highly in-depth programs dealing with the financial services industries; AND - Experience applying risk assessment methodologies programs dealing with the financial services industries (i.e. economic turmoil, credit, market, and operational risks); AND - Experience in analyzing and evaluating policy issues and developing written and oral presentations which include policy options and recommendations to executive staff. Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
