You will serve as an Intelligence Operations Specialist at the GG-11 grade level responsible for providing all source multi-discipline information analysis and data fusion for riverine specific targets.
Duties
You will maintain up-to-date files and knowledge on current environmental riverine factors.
You will represent the organizational segment to which assigned on committees where his/her knowledge and experience are judged necessary.
You will review intelligence products prepared by other government agencies or other elements of his/her assigned activity for technical accuracy and logical treatment and interpretation of information.
You will develop analytical tools and methodologies, and analyzes data bases to draw specific conclusions.
You will identify intelligence gaps, specifies collection requirements to fill gaps, evaluates the intelligence collected in response to those requirements.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may be subject to polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
1. Perform intelligence gathering from all-source information, feature extraction and imagery analysis, combining all to provide hardcopy and digital products.
2. Recommend changes and modifications to improve intelligence gathering methodologies and techniques.
3. Provide instruction for new personnel on proper geospatial, imagery and scientific analysis techniques and provides continuing guidance to lower grade analysts.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
