In support of Facilities and Equipment, Operations, and Reimbursables, incumbent performs a combination of routine, multiple and varying assignments and serves as the expert for fiscal tracking and accounting procedures.

Duties

Provides annual accounting classification/coding training to assigned Engineering Services (ES) Groups’ employees. Collects and analyzes data/information; conducts research; applies policies and procedures; identifies problems; and works with higher/lower level professionals in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

To qualify at the FV-F level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-E, FG/GS-4. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is; analyzing data, conducting research and applying policies or procedures; identifying problems and offering solutions in the areas of fiscal management. To qualify at the FV-G level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F, FG/GS-5/7/9. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is; Experience with fund certification and reconciliation, analyzing statistical fiscal data, and experience using REGIS/DELPHI.Qualifications requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

Education

Education substitution for the F band: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, gained from an accredited college or university. Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Education substitution for the G-band: Ph. D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
