The National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) leads the nation's effort to protect the United States from terrorism by integrating, analyzing and sharing information to drive whole-of-government action and achieve our national CT objectives.

Duties

Manage and assess the status of assigned projects on a continuous basis, to include resource management and contractor support. Manage the goal setting, and provide feedback on personal development to IT Project Managers. Manage relationships with contracting officers or contracting officer technical representatives (COTRs) to provide contract oversight and management including the creation of statements of work, award fee criteria, and delivery acceptance terms. Manage relationships with key partners throughout the Center and across the IC.

Qualifications

Superior ability to listen to, clarify, and convey understanding of others' ideas, comments, and questions as well as to integrate and build upon diverse opinions in a manner that encourages the formation of integrated solutions. Superior interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment and to lead and mentor junior colleagues. Superior ability to develop effective professional and interpersonal relationships with peers and colleagues in the ODNI, the IC, and USG, and to earn their confidence and trust to manage negotiations and consensus building. Expert ability to plan strategically, analyze and assess programmatic initiatives, and report trends impacting mission objectives. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Superior ability to multitask and change focus quickly as demands change. Three to five years of management experience. Superior ability to perform thorough work and conscientious about attending to detail.

Education

Bachelors Degree.
