Duties
Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons.
Maintain scheduling and event calendars for executive staff.
Coordinate all travel arrangements.
File and retrieve documents, records, and reports.
Prepares, processes, and monitors Requests for Personnel Action (RPAs) and AutoNOA tickets including recruitments, reassignments, realignments, awards and pay adjustments.
Manages the administrative actions for organization including recruiting replacement personnel, training of personnel, and preparation and submission of awards.
Maintains directorate time and attendance utilizing automated time-keeping systems DCPS and ATAAPS.
Acts as point of contact for all matters pertaining to leave and earnings, time and attendance and pay discrepancies using the appropriate regulation and direct contact with the installation civilian payroll office.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: receive visitors and phone calls; receive and screen incoming correspondence; schedule appointments; arrange conferences and meetings; maintain files and records; arrange travel for staff; prepare, process, and/or monitors personnel actions.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
