You will serve as a Sheet Metal Mechanic (Aircraft) Leader in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT FLTREADCEN EAST of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will convey technical guidance and direction related to sheet metal repair and maintenance of aircraft structures and surfaces.
You will lead a group of Sheet Metal Mechanics in the performance of sheet metal work on assigned aircraft.
You will estimate and request personnel in accordance with workload requirements and see that the necessary blueprints, tools, and supplies are obtained.
You will perform the more complex Sheet metal Mechanic (Aircraft) work.
You will maintain current records of procedures, policies, written instructions and technical orders peculiar to assigned aircraft.

Carry out work, guiding others, resolve problems and ensuring that all safety rules and procedures are followed;
Develop patterns/templates for lower graded workers;
Determine how to plan, lay out and construct manufactured items/systems with dovetailed, set-in bottom, burred bottom, wired, or locked seams;
Use complicated measuring instruments such as protractors, calipers, snap right, screw pitch gauges and other hand measurement devices to measure plans and projects;
Operate complicated shop tools and equipment such as hand/powered crimping, burring, turning, beading machines and soldering/welding equipment;
Utilize complicated shop mathematics to figure irregular curves, angles and pitch;
Analyze blueprints and sketches and working with various metals such as honeycomb material, magnesium, alloys, stainless steel and copper sheet to evaluate structural damage, repair and modify projects
