You will serve as a Transportation Specialist in the Public Works Transportation Division of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.
Duties
You will implement, and monitor NAVFAC Washington transportation policy, directives and instructions relative to transportation operations, maintenance, management, and administration.
You will interpret policy from higher authority.
You will review and analyze data for the replacement eligibility of Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE).
You will be responsible for the day to day management of CESE inventory.
You will liaison between GSA and the PWD for all transportation matters relative to new requirements, replacements, repairs, and credit card purchases.
You will be responsible to ensure funding is received for all class ?B? rentals.
You will liaison between all tenant activities employees for all transportation matters relative to transportation requirements, maintenance, and credit card usage.
You will attend monthly Product Line meetings.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Implementing and monitoring NAVFAC Washington transportation policy, directives and instructions relative to transportation operations, maintenance, management, and administration; 2) Reviewing and analyzing data for the replacement eligibility of Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE); 3) Determining effective utilization, overseeing equipment rentals, establishing replacement scheduled, and procurement methods; and 4) Managing CESE data using a Transportation Manger database (i.e. MAXIMO). Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
You have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree with a major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, nautical science, marine affairs, marine engineering, marine transportation, or other fields related to the position.
OR
You have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, nautical science, marine affairs, marine engineering, marine transportation, or other fields related to the position.
OR
You have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
OR
You have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to 100% of the qualification requirement.
