This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-Joint Service Provider (JP541).
Duties
Oversee a variety of IT projects and/or initiatives, including requirements analysis, portfolio management, customer liaison, documentation, products and services catalog, and policy compliance.
Utilize extensive knowledge of desktop infrastructures, operating systems, networks, information technology policies/procedures, and JSP operations to resolve technical issues related to lifecycle management (LCM) processes.
Provide input for the creation and maintenance of Performance Work Statements, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans, and Independent Government Cost Estimates.
Develop, maintain, and distribute technical policies and procedures for systems engineering operations within the Joint Service Provider (JSP) to ensure consistency with long-term automation goals and objectives.
Responsible for overall project management and reporting activities to ensure projects stay within cost, schedule, and performance thresholds, adhere to agency established practices and procedures, and deliver customer satisfaction.

- Must be able to obtain/maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13 level, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: experienceparticipating in the planning, design, implementation, testing and life-cycle management of complex multi-function IT systems.
