You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the EMPLOYEE SERVICES DIVISION, COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will serve as Team Lead to members of the Comptroller Department Employee Services Division team and as the DTS Defense Travel Administrator.
You will plan, organize, research, conduct financial analysis in such areas as business process flow, outstanding financial transactions, errors within Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and interfacing systems.
You will research and analyze financial transactions; open obligations, payables, receivables, debts, unmatched disbursements, and other transactions for corrective action ensuring transactions are recorded to the proper Navy ledger account.
You will ensure Travel and Travel Card programs are adhering to all governing regulations, directives, instructions, local policies and processes.
You will analyze effectiveness of internal controls; provide recommendations to appropriate personnel of any improvements and implementing changes.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing financial information to develop reports, monitor funds spent for Travel purposes, and ensure adherence to Federal financial and travel regulations, policies, and processes.
