You will serve as a ENTERPRISE INDUSTRIAL CONTROL SYSTEM OPERATOR in the FACILITIES & ENERGY OPERATIONS CELL, PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE CORE of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.
Duties
You will receive, analyze and respond to Help Desk customer trouble calls/emails concerning HVAC Systems and Enterprise Industrial Control System Operator information.
You will conduct monitoring of system equipment using Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and related systems.
You will analyze system alerts and alarms to determine the root cause of system malfunctions, troubleshot reported system anomalies, and document remote repairs.
You will troubleshoot and define the full scopes of maintenance problems to guide service technicians.
You will provide systems communications with programmers, mechanics, customers, and leadership as needed for operations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.)Using systems that provide real-time monitoring and control of infrastructure equipment such as HVAC systems, generators and water treatment pumps; 2.) Performing work reception and induction operations to maintain systems and equipment associated with facility management; 3.) Diagnosing malfunctions, system alerts and alarms within infrastructure equipment; 4.) Responding to requests for service and documenting the scope and priority of maintenance problems in an automated facilities management system..

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
