You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST in the Commanding General's Special Staff of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT.
Duties
You will monitor and advise on pre-complaint (informal) counseling process.
You will advise aggrieved employees and management concerning discrimination complaint procedures.
You will plan, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate at least one of the local Special Emphasis Programs (i.e., Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American Program, et cetera).
You will compile, review, and analyze statistical information on workforce composition, recruitment, selection rates, promotions, incentive award, performance awards, and similar workforce statistics.

Qualifications
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing expert advice regarding laws, regulations, executive orders, court decisions and issues related to the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program; administering all aspects of a local EEO program, ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements; and interpreting Federal Personnel and Equal Employment Opportunity statues/programs.
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in providing advice regarding laws, regulations, executive orders, court decisions and issues related to the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program; assist in administering all aspects of a local EEO program, ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements; and interpreting Federal Personnel and Equal Employment Opportunity statues/programs.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
GS-09: master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
