About the position: This position will be assigned to the Peterson Hub located on Peterson Space Force Base.
Must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
This position may require shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
Duties
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, and cold menu items (e.g., salad, bread, and cold beverages) Delivers and removes dishes and trays from dining and bar areas. Prepares simple food items for delivery and/or carryout. Cleans, cuts, chops vegetables, salad or other food items.
Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses, serving containers and utensils in the dishwasher area. Loads/empties and operates a mechanical dishwasher. Returns sanitized items to their original location. Sorts, washes, peel, and cuts fresh fruits and vegetables
Following specific instructions and rigid time schedules, secures food from kitchen, and carries beverages from bar and serves customers.
Refills food and beverage containers and performs emergency cleanup services. Answers simple questions concerning menu items and food served.
Cleans and prepares tables for further use.
Performs other related cleaning duties as time permits including the preparation area, kitchen and dining room.
May perform incidental dishwashing and other tasks.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
Ability to read and understand written material and be able to follow simple oral instructions.
Must be able to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines.
Must be able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds, and occasionally over 20 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, and bend for long periods of time.
Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training.
Must possess a valid driver's license and have skill in maneuvering and driving vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds.
Must satisfactorily complete mandatory training.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a physical exam.
This is a drug testing designated position; must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test.
The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
