About the position: This position will be assigned to the Equipment Rental facility at Outdoor Recreation. Duties

This position is a balance of physical implementation and administration. Maintain and upkeep ODR rental equipment. Maintain equipment and vehicle maintenance schedules. Work closely with Director to secure the economic and efficient operation of the Outdoor Recreation Center. Assist Director with oversight of policies and procedures for cash handling, inventories, oversight of quality of work, fees and charges, budget preparation and financial analysis. Assist with coordination of safe reliable transportation for scheduled trips. Follows and ensures all patron requests for rental equipment by preparing and reviewing accountability forms for equipment being checked out is in accordance with policies and procedures, and ensures all equipment is kept and returned to clean and properly working condition. Assist in the management and implementation of Outdoor Recreation Programs to include Equipment Rental Operation, RV Storage Lot, Resale Lot, Parks & Playgrounds, Swimming Pools, Fam Camp, Archery Range, Hosting/Leading Programs, and bleacher and stage event support for Wing, squadron, and community events, as directed by manager. Supervise NAF and/or APF employees as assigned and assist Director with the full range of supervisory duties. Act as the ODR Director in the absence of Director when assigned. Assists the director in the planning, organizing, controlling, scheduling, forecasting variety of events, programs, trips, and classes. Provide accurate quality customer service. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Responsible administrative, professional, technical, or other work which as provided a general knowledge of management principles and practices. Possess a working knowledge on the equipment maintained and issued from the center and be capable of demonstrating the use of the equipment. Must be able to lift and carry supplies, materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work on uncommon tour of duty as necessary. Position is a position of trust and requires satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. Must have, or acquire a state driver license. May be required to operate a government vehicle. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
