About the Position: This position is within the Logistics Division of the Directorate of Supply and Transportation (DST) located at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD), Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Duties
Ensure inventory stock records are logged properly coinciding within Logistic Modernization Program (LMP).
Update financial accounting records for supply stock items in commodity categories.
Oversee operational functions within Automated Storage Retrieval Systems (ASRS)/ SEER systems to correct or enhance supply transactions.
Provide supply requisitioning information to management/customers for logistical support.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- One-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
- Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Certificate.
- Must take Fiscal Law and Federal Appropriations Law course every 3 years. Required Delegation of Authority Approval from agency Resource Management.
- Must be willing to submit a financial disclosure (OGE 450) initially and annually thereafter.
- Must be willing to take Comptrollers Accreditation and Fiscal Law Course Part 1: Fiscal Law Foundation and Part 2: Elective of choice, approved by The Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School, within a reasonable time frame upon hire.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and or expereice requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Utilizing automated supply systems to account for organization property; 2) Preparing reports for lost, damaged or destroyed property; 3) Answering inquiries from customers regarding the status of supplies; 4) Reviewing general supply requests and/or requirements for accuracy or discrepancies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
