Duties
Manage studies and special projects affecting Supplier Operations plans, goals and initiatives.
Monitor the collection, consolidation and analysis of metrics and data used to inform operating officials regarding the viability, effectiveness and efficiency of Section programs.
Assure plans, policies and procedures reflect proper consideration of higher level initiatives and management control systems.
Develop, present and promulgate recommendations for changes in enhancements to programs to improve supplier support and satisfaction.
Works with Enterprise Business System (EBS) applications related to Planning and Procurement.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Analyzes work products relates to managing and controlling materials from initial plan through acquisition, storage, issue, utilization and disposal.
Coordinates and determines the regulating flow of supplies.
Conducts evaluations of the demand and supply planning processes.
Performs analysis and evaluation of a wide range of inventory management variables in an enterprise automated records and control systems.
Resolves complex problems related to an acquisition process, material substitution criteria, provisioning, distribution and ultimate issues for consumption, retention or disposal.
