This National Guard position is for a Contract Specialist, Position Description Number T5515000 and is part of the J1 HRO, New Jersey Army National Guard.
The primary purpose of the position is to provide limited technical assistance to Human Resources Specialists within the office and to managers, supervisors, and technicians of the serviced organization for a wide range of human resources matters

As a HR ASST, GS-0203-7, you will:
Qualifications
General Experience:
GS-07
Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of the position; experience using computer and automations systems
Specialized Experience: GS-07 Must have 12 months experience in the following:
Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided a working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and federal civilian or military personnel programs. Experienced in performing personnel program requirements that involve advising supervisors and managers; and, experienced in completing accession planning and processing and, civilian promotions. Skilled in applying program policies, directives, publications, and training manuals
