Duties

As a Business Operations Specialist, at the full performance level you will perform the following duties: Function as a consultant and work with program staff to identify program needs and accomplish mission requirements; Review contractor payment requests, approve and recommend vendor payments based on delegated authority, and monitor the cost, schedule, and performance parameters of all assigned contracts; Coordinate with the Contracting Officer to ensure procurement process timelines are being met.

Requirements

You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Assisting in the development of acquisition packages; reviewing and processing contractor payment requests; Providing assistance to contracting personnel on systems, services, and equipment contracts; Conducting studies and developing recommendations based on study results. You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Monitoring the cost, schedule, and performance parameters of contracts; Reviewing contractor payment requests and approve and/or recommend vendor payments based on delegated authority; Providing technical support for pre-award and post-award activities.
