This position is located in the Budget and Finance Division of the District of Columbia Courts. The Budget and Finance Division is responsible for all financial aspects of the D.C. Courts. The Financial Services Specialist is responsible for planning, developing and implementing accounting functions which are involved in the monitoring, disbursement and reporting of D.C. Court funds.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADE 11: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in entering, modifying, tracking and analyzing information in computer accounting and digital record keeping systems. Experience using both manual and electronic payment systems. Experience interpreting data and drafting narrative reports for managers. Familiarity with basic operations management and knowledge of travel regulations and techniques. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADE 12: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience entering, modifying, tracking and analyzing information in computer accounting and digital record keeping systems. Experience using both manual and electronic payment systems. Experience interpreting data and drafting narrative reports for managers. Familiarity with basic operations management and knowledge of travel regulations and techniques.
