Duties
Responsible for providing end-to-end demand and supply planning logistics support and execution along with inventory management activities for assigned commodities and for developing and implementing innovative supply support solutions
Provides support to the Planning Directorate to accomplish responsibilities for demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, kitting, and supply chain collaboration efforts for assigned weapons/troop and general systems support.
Maintains current and accurate planning data and provides planning and/or commodity related services
Manages Supply Chain Planning Optimization (SCPO), Master Planning, and other programs as warranted (e.g. JDA Strategy and other programs such as DSS/WMS).
Executes supplier management integration efforts associated with Collaboration, Planning, Forecasts, and Replenishment (CPFR).
Ensures the implementation of DoD, DLA, SC, and inter-directorate division policies, procedures, plans and programs
Provides program management for the Kitting Program along with Demand and Supply Chain collaboration.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory General Supply Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable
specialized experience includes:
Knowledge of demand, supply, and material support planning, and inventory management
Implementing short, mid and long range supply planning and logistics management support
Developing coordinated logistics solutions/marketing strategies for customers
Evaluating the effectiveness of current tools, policies and processes in order to recommend improvements in the Planning and Inventory Management process
Analyzing trends that are affecting item planning activities and providing comprehensive customer and agency support for assigned programs
