This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, House Office Buildings, Labor and Custodial Branch. The selectee will operate a fork lift (certification required) to transport compressed bales of cardboard, magazines, newspapers, books and other materials compressed by a baling machine. Will also receive and unload incoming vendor shipments and assists with disposal of waste materials.

Duties

Tour of Duty:  The hours range from 7am to 6pm.  This position is emergency essential - Depending on the type of emergency the employee may be required to report to work during emergency situations

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Ability to independently store, deliver (load and unload), and operate a forklift without more than normal supervision.
