SB/SE CAMPUS MANAGEMENT CADRE
Cadre members may be placed in a temporary management position on an as needed basis for up to 5 years. Placement into the cadre is no guarantee of placement into a management assignment. Selectees may be temporarily promoted without further competition or regard to the 120/180 day restriction. Cadre members will receive developmental activities and training that will provide the employee with increased proficiencies and leadership competencies.

Andover Campus Collection, Atlanta Campus Collection, Fresno Campus Collection, Kansas City Campus Collection, and Philadelphia Campus Collection

Qualifications
Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week, on your resume. Qualified applicants will be ranked in accordance with the MSP procedures. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:
To be qualified for this SB/SE CAMPUS MANAGEMENT CADRE (CMC) PROGRAM your permanent position of record must be within the SB/SE organization.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CAMPUS MANAGEMENT CADRE (CMC) PROGRAM: 1. Employees must have at least a fully successful rating on their current annual appraisal in order to compete for the Cadre; 2.Qualified applicants will be ranked in accordance with the MSP procedures; 3.Cadre members must maintain a fully successful performance rating in any temporary assignment or in their permanent position to remain in the program for the five-year membership; 4.If performance during a managerial assignment warrants removal from the position, you will be subsequently removed from the Cadre and returned to your former position; 5.If you are the subject of a disciplinary and/or adverse action or impending disciplinary and/or adverse action while serving you will be removed from the cadre for a period of not less than three (3) years; 6.Employees selected into the program must update their Supervisory Availability information on an annual basis. Current cadre members Supervisory Availability forms will be emailed for updating; 7.Program participants who decline two (2) positions offered will automatically be removed; 8.While in this program, if the applicant becomes eligible for a higher grade they may have the opportunity for a temporary promotion to the higher grade without further competition; 9. The cadre participants will partake in development activities in their home position unless serving on a temporary management assignment.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE- IR-07:
You must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the next lower level within the payband or GS grade in the normal line of progression in the Federal service. To be qualifying for this position your experience should be sufficient to demonstrate: Experience with management techniques, methods, theories, principles, and labor relations concepts, to assure optimum utilization of personnel, equipment, and space for the accomplishment of all program objectives with combined technical and administrative oversight; Experience applying regulations, other official guidance and principles, including the latest procedures and techniques sufficient to oversee the planning, development and implementation of the technical aspects of programs specific to the position being filled; Experience applying basic budget management principles and practices (i.e. ability to maintain and manage financial resources); Experience applying communicative techniques to effectively and diplomatically interact with internal and external customers.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE- IR-08:
You must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the next lower level within the payband or GS grade in the normal line of progression in the Federal service. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: By the closing date (or if this is an open continuous announcement, by the cut-off date) specified in this job announcement, current civilian employees must have completed at least 90 days of federal civilian service since their latest non-temporary appointment from a competitive referral certificate, known as time after competitive appointment.
