Duties
You will synchronize global deterrence capabilities for the Department of Defense to combat adversary weapons of mass destruction worldwide.
You will provide integrated capabilities to deter and dissuade threats and, when directed, defeat adversaries through decisive global kinetic and non-kinetic
combat effects.
You will plan conventional Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) and Hypersonic Weapons (HSW) global strike missions.
You will develop and evaluate the tactics, techniques, and procedures of TLAM and HSW targeting agencies to ensure compliance with Joint Chiefs of
Staff (JCS) J2 and J3 requirements.
You will conduct target analysis, aim point development, and weapons effect calculations (weaponizing) for the five new variants of advanced TLAM and HSW missions.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret/ SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Incumbent may be required to access to certain specified Special Access Programs supporting joint operations as necessary.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Irregular tours of duty, and/or extended duty may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Devising solutions sufficient to monitor, track, report, and minimize risk or defeat.
Using quantitative and qualitative techniques and methodologies sufficient to analyze complex plans, strike rehearsals, and exercise scenarios; articulate observations and findings; and implement solutions to enhance overall mission/combat readiness.
Identifying emergent or evolving operational requirements, to evaluate and validate varied data sources, and to coordinate the evaluation and selection of data management tools.
Managing the Tomahawk Command and Control System Target Enterprise Database's (TED) target data.
