About the Position: This position is located at 325th Medical Group, Tyndall AFB, Bay, Florida.

Duties

Verify, enter, and adjust budgetary data in a variety of forms, schedules and reports. Analyze and evaluate a wide variety of billing documents. Review documents for completeness, mathematical accuracy, and compliance with contract terms. Contact contractor to resolve discrepancies and to request corrected documents. Certify acceptance of services and prepares and distributes appropriate documentation to accounting and finance and contracting agencies for payment. Monitor year-end closing/de-obligations to ensure proper and full use of funds.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
• Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experiencerequirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. One year of specialized experience which includes duties such as: planning, preparing, and coordinating contract service requirements for service contracts, act as primary point of contact for coordinating activities, functions, and surveillance plans, and evaluate resources required to accomplish proposed projects in relation to committed resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Finance, Contracting, or Business. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
