About the Position: Incumbent coordinates all functions pertaining to the management of the Camp Bullis Army Support Activity (ASA) supply program. Duties include, but are not limited to, the warehousing, storage, safeguarding, inventory, and accountability of all items included on Camp Bullis Arny Support Activity (ASA) property books. Note: Duty position for the position is located on Camp Bullis, which is approximately 20 miles North of Fort Sam Houston and downtown San Antonio.

Duties

Accumulation and recording of data on quantitative and monetary value of the inventory to include number and value of items on hand, on order and in for repair. Determine requirements for new or replacement items on revised criteria or authorization. Present solutions and recommend actions to be taken due to frequent changes and deviations in the level and/or nature of operations or when the program is adversely affected by changing sources of supply, increased cost factors or decreased budget. Consult with and provide advisory service to (ASA) concerning the need for developing or changing program plans, policies, and procedures for conduct of the Camp Bullis (ASA) supply program. Oversee the receipt of requests for supplies, ensuring the receipt documents are posted correctly. Serve as the Primary Hand Receipt Holder and perform cyclic property inventories including semi-annually or annually. Oversee and administer standards for accurate reporting of utilization, operation, and maintenance cost by vehicle unit. Serve as Key Control Custodian for Camp Bullis Army Support Activity.

Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal service which includes: ordering, purchasing, storing and accounting for supplies for an organization; using standardized supply regulations, policies, and procedures relating to requisitioning and stock control in order to check appropriate computer listings, item histories, procurement documents, shipment invoices, or other available records or files; using automated supply database systems to track and control suppl levels and requests; responding to inquiries regarding the status of requisitions, delivery of material, and other questions received from customers, storage depots, or other organizations. . This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementCustomer Service (Clerical/Technical)Inventory ManagementSupply Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????06).
