About the Position: Serves as the Executive Assistant and advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation (DASA DE&C) within the office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) (ASAALT), located in Arlington,VA.
Duties
Provide executive direction, assistance, and support for all administrative operations to the Front Office staff and DASA Offices.
Review incoming and outgoing correspondence to provide applicable executive summaries, interpretation of policy, or recommendations pertaining to content.
Handle a wide range of sensitive and confidential special assignments for senior leaders.
Provide management solutions and recommendations on all assigned programs/projects.
Develop material for briefings, fact sheets and executive summaries.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. One year of specialized experience which includes maintaining administrative management duties such as: schedules/calendars, travel plans, and coordinating briefings; analyzing data to assess the progress of programs, projects and tasks; implementing solutions to highly complex problems or issues; preparing written and oral correspondence; and reviewing management reports or contractual documents for external distribution. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).
