These positions will be located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Kansas City Regional Office, and will be located in one of the Kansas City, MO Field Offices of the FDIC and provide support in performing technical and administrative duties to assist the Field Supervisors, Supervisory Examiners, and Examiners for the region's Field Offices, and will support Regional Office administrative functions, as needed. Location will be determined upon selection.
Duties
- Maintains the assigned Field Offices' itineraries, organizational charts, and Employee Directories and assists with updating Emergency Preparedness Plans.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 05 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience serving in an office support capacity serving as a timekeeper, tracking activities and project suspense dates, using software to prepare written materials and reports, and storing and maintaining electronic files.
