About the Position: Position serves as Protocol Officer, providing correct protocol guidance to enable Command to make decisions regarding meetings, ceremonies and social events in accordance with current references, applicable instructions or regulations and established Command precedent. Position is located in 1st Theater Sustainment Command, at Fort Knox, KY.
Duties
Serve as Protocol Officer for 1ST TSC by providing correct protocol guidance to enable Command to make decisions regarding meetings, ceremonies, and social events.
Manage Commander?s Official Representation Funds in accordance with established regulations and procedures to ensure that funds are handled correctly, and events meet the intent of the guidance.
Develop comprehensive plans and strategies of the day-to-day assignments, actions, and activities requiring the involvement of the Commander.
Work closely with the US Army Central Staff, and Fort Knox Garrison Staff to manage the operational schedule and the calendar for the Commander.
Direct and maintain the administrative operations of the Commander's Office.
Requirements

Experience Required:
To qualify based on your work experience, the resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience scheduling of upper-level management and maintaining all aspects of the calendar. Experiencing preparing and review staff actions and correspondence for correct grammar, consistency, completeness, pertinence of content, general tone, logic, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Experience performing protocol duties to coordinate, track, and provide services for all aspects of executive level visits to the organization.
