Duties

Perform the duties of an Information Systems Security Officer. Utilize standard research to solve cybersecurity related problems. Evaluate system performance to ensure proper functionality. Advise cybersecurity functionality programs to internal and external customers. Implement network guideline policies to internal and external customers. Provide cybersecurity and network guidance to the organization.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires a Sensitive Compartmented Information Security clearance.
• Obtain and maintain a Tier 4/Special-Sensitive Critical and Noncritical Sensitive, High-Risk Clearance.
• This position may require 5% temporary duty (TDY) travel.
• Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification or must be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of appointment in accordance with DoD 8570.1m.
• Two-year probationary period may be required.
• Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing.
• This position is subject to polygraph examination.
