About the Position: Serves as a Lead Traffic Management Specialist, US Army Sustainment Command, Executive Directorate for Support Operations, Redstone Arsenal, AL
Duties
Planning, directing, and reviewing the efforts of a group of Specialist engaged in substantive work of the organization.
Coordinate the activities of assigned personnel to assure maximum utilization of the available skills in order to efficiently accomplish the assigned mission.
Furnish advice, interprets policies, serves as a technical consultant as to capabilities, limitations, and operations of assigned program.
Implement assigned programs by making necessary adjustments, modifications, and revisions to meet current and long-range objectives.
Ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products, and services.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- One year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- TDY - 50% of the time
