This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Management Services, Financial Services Directorate, Materiel Management and Procurement Group, Acquisition Management Team (AJG-R2). These teams manage ATO full-time Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) support service contracts and cradle-to-grave acquisition activities.

Duties

As a Member of one of the AJG-R2 Acquisition Management Teams, the Program Specialist applies advanced knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to assess and analyze contract data and identify problems. As a Contracting Officer Representative (COR), this position performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager or more experienced professional. This work crosses organizational boundaries throughout the ATO, impacts each ATO Service Unit and directly affects the accomplishment of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G, FG/GS-10/11 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as:Experience as a Level II Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to monitor contractor performance and review resumes for compliance with labor category requirements.Experience analyzing data trends to recommend solutions and improvements for complex/difficult problems.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
