Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Olmstead and Community Integration Senior Manager, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Providing subject matter expertise in civil rights laws and regulations related to Olmstead and community integration in a variety of enforcement and policy activities. Using knowledge of and experience with home and community-based service systems to provide subject matter expertise in enforcement, policy, technical assistance, and outreach on Olmstead and community integration. Managing the overall operation of the Olmstead and Community Integration Unit in the Strategic Planning Division. Preparing internal and external memoranda, correspondence, findings letters/reports, and resolution agreements, sub-regulatory guidance and other technical assistance documents, and outreach materials. Communicating clearly, effectively, and persuasively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Enforcing Olmstead and community integration federal civil rights laws and regulations. Providing policy guidance, technical assistance, and/or public education on Olmstead community integration rights and/or obligations. Serving as a supervisor, team lead, or senior-level expert/consultant on Olmstead and community integration activities. Documenting experience: IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC. WE WILL NOT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS REGARDING YOUR EXPERIENCE. Qualifications are based on breadth/level of experience.
