Duties

The Space Force Assessments Division serves as the United States Space Force's focal point for assessing the performance of the USSF. The Cyber Assessments Deputy Branch Chief will focus on assessing the stand-up and operation of the Space Force's cyber warfare capabilities, including defensive cyberspace operations for space systems, future offensive capabilities, cyber warfare training programs including cyber ranges, exercises, and wargames. Assessments frame the Space Force's budgetary needs, and the cyber branch is responsible for assessing cyber warfare capabilities of the Space Force, including coordination with Field Commands, Operations Deltas, and across other elements of the Space Force Staff to accurately capture the current status and emerging requirements of Space Force Cyber.
