Duties
You will serve as the PROGRAM ANALYST in the N3/5 Operations and Plans Directorate, Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group Headquarters (NAVELSG), Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg, Virginia.
You will serves as the principle advisor and administrative manager to the N3/5, Director Operations and Plans Directorate on all matters of contingency planning and readiness reporting.
You will provide subject matter expertise on NAVELSG's force requirements in Combatant Commander Operational Plans (OPLAN).
You will serve as the senior analyst for NAVELSG?s requirements in support of Combatant Commander Operational Plan (OPLAN) force requirements.
You will evaluate NAVELSG?s capability demands and determine feasibility of support.
You will Conduct Full Mobilization Plan (FMP) coordination and planning to ensure NAVELSG Reserve Component forces can meet Commander's Requirement Dates (CRD) in support of OPLAN force requirements.
You will update and maintain Type Unit Characteristics (TUCHA) data in the JOPES TUCHA reference file for all NAVELSG Unit Type Codes.
You will revise NAVELSG Unit Type Codes to match changes in force structure, unit capabilities, and operational mission areas as required.
You will represent Commander, NAVELSG at Combatant Commander Operational Plan (OPLAN) planning and sourcing conferences.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience with the NECC and NAVELSG organizational structure, along with knowledge of the various Force capabilities.
Experience with unit embarkation processes and procedures as well as working knowledge of various mobility programs (ICODES, JOPES, etc.) is critical.
Experience Global Force Management (GFM) process, Request for Forces (RFF) procedures and Operational Plans (OPLAN).
Experience with readiness reporting procedures, with direct experience in Readiness Cost and Reporting Program (RCRP) and Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) preferred.
Experience developing briefs, point papers and other material for presentations at the flag level as well as participate in executive level briefings to address OPLAN requirements, readiness issues, and policy decisions.
