As a NBE/BE (CRA Modernization Program Manager), you will serve as the lead with the overall responsibility for implementing the agency's new regulatory framework for evaluating the performance of OCC banks under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
This position is located in BSP / Compliance Risk Policy located in Washington, DC.
Although Washington, DC is the preferred location, Alternate Location Arrangement may be considered.
Duties
As a NBE/BE (CRA Modernization Program Manager), you will:
Lead and organize all Bank Supervision Policy (BSP) activities associated with implementing the new Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) framework.
Identify, advise on and coordinate the timely resolution of challenging and complex supervisory issues arising from the CRA rule implementation with respect to areas such as performance standards, qualifying activities, examiner rating processes and assessment area requirements.
Apply enhanced technical expertise, guidance and policy interpretations to the development of appropriate materials for OCC field examiners and agency supervisory officials on supervisory and regulatory matters affected by the new CRA rule.
Oversee and contribute to the drafting and issuance of needed guidance, examination procedures and executive briefing material resulting from work plan tasks.
Work with Community Affairs, Banking Relations and other OCC business units to develop, organize and coordinate communication of guidance and information sharing for industry and trade associations, community groups and other external stakeholders.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-V band level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
Experience organizing or leading various activities with regard to the Community Reinvestment Act framework, such as; (policy and supervisory tools development, drafting and updating CRA processes for implementation, and/or performing various policy research and analysis of CRA related matters) for the purpose of evaluating the performance of OCC banks under the CRA.
The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
