Duties

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the WARFARE REQUIREMENTS, PLANNING AND PROGRAMMING DEPARTMENT, Little Creek Amphibious Base, Virginia You will assist in coordinating experimentation planning, coordination and execution and Joint Concept Development and Experimentation (JCD and E). You will be responsible for matters related to the location, testing, evaluation integration and experimentation of new technology solutions. You will support the development of the NECE Science and Technology plan. You will, when directed, coordinate with senior officials across the private, public and military spectrum relate to identifying warfighter capability solutions.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing analysis of science and technology strategic plans which supports and results in identifying and exercising prioritized warfighter capability improvements in accordance with Strategic and Navy higher authority guidance. Experience refining and implementing scientific and technical advances into policy and investment recommendations that will impact the future Program Objective Memorandum (POM). Experience conducting research, interpreting and understanding policy and to understand expeditionary warfighting impacts from outcomes of analysis. Experience effectively communicating at all level of DoD, higher and adjacent headquarters and other government and non-government activities. Experience preparing and presenting briefs, presentations and reports, as documented by prior assignments, to senior leadership. Experience interpreting and evaluating science and technology disciplines relevant to the mission and functions of the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command force (NECF).
