You will serve as a ELECTRONICS MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC in the Commander Naval Air Force Reserve, Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) Detachments of FRC MA SITE WASHINGTON DC.
Duties
You will calibrate, repair, modify, test, inspect, and troubleshoot a variety of Precision Measuring Equipment authorized at the Intermediate
Maintenance Department.
You will generate, receive, modify, amplify, measure or display electronic signal and transform it into measurable units in major electronic, electrical or electro-mechanical systems used in ground, airborne and marine applications and service.
You will plan and sequence work, select tools and otherwise carry assignments out to completion, referring only to the unusual and difficult problems to the supervisor.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license and MHE license.
- This position is a testing designated position.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

- Requires bi-annual HAZMAT recertification.

Calibrating, repairing, modifying, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting a variety of Precision Measuring Equipment such as oscilloscopes; spectrum, network, and logic analyzers; digital voltmeters; multi-meters; radio frequency power meters; phase meters; signal and function generators; frequency counters; inductance capacitance resistance analyzers; power supplies; and other specialized systems equipment.
Interpreting electrical schematics, logic and data flow charts, wiring diagrams, programming tables, technical publications, and instrument calibration procedures. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
Using trade tools, and testing and measuring instruments. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
