The incumbent serves as a Human Resource Specialist in the Executive Resources Division, AHR-200. Works independently to provide operational and advisory human resource management services of staffing, recruitment, position management, performance management, performance awards and succession planning for the agency's executive leadership positions.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the at least the next lower grade that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.To qualify for the H Band, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G/ FG/GS-11 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized Experience is defined as:-Advising management on a variety of human resource management concepts, laws, policies, practices and regulations related to executive recruitment and staffing.-Conducting job analyses, preparing crediting plans, and determining applicant qualifications.-Advising management concerning current and future staffing projections.To qualify for the I Band, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H/ FG/GS-12 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized Experience is defined as:1. Advising management on a variety of human resource management concepts, laws, policies, practices and regulations related to executive recruitment and staffing.2. Conducting job analyses, preparing crediting plans, and determining applicant qualifications.3.
