This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Superintendent - Cheyenne River Agency, Facility Management, in Eagle Butte, South Dakota.

NOTE:
TRAVEL AND RELOCATION EXPENSES WILL NOT BE AUTHORIZED. ANY RELOCATION EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH REPORTING FOR DUTY WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SELECTED EMPLOYEE.
Duties
Provide repair, maintenance and preventative maintenance to the facilities and equipment including heating systems, electrical systems and plumbing systems located at the Agency.
Heating: Services and repairs the oil-fired furnaces with may call for partial or complete disassembly of the unit or accessories.
Electrical: Replaces, repairs, or installs light fixtures of all types.
Plumbing: Repairs and installs faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, water lines and sewer lines, valves, traps, water heaters
Concrete, Carpentry and Painting.
Installs, repairs and/or replaces all necessary parts in vehicles used by the agency.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Job Qualifications System for Trades and Labor Occupations (X-118C, Qualification Standard Handbook) will be used in determining applicants' qualifications. There is no specific length of training or experience required; however, you must be able to demonstrate through the experience shown in your written resume and your responses to the Occupational Questionnaire that you possess the competencies to perform the duties of this position without more than normal supervision.
