About the Position: Serves as a Supply Technician (OA) at the Defense Health Agency, Small Market and Stand-Alone Organization (SSO), MOODY AFB BASE, GA
Duties
Research problems surfaced by customers and resolve issues to route to the appropriate analyst.
Retrieve data and use it to respond to a variety of customers, program reviews, and vendor inquiries.
Review requisitions, documents, and reference materials involved in the procurement, management, and use of hazardous materials in accordance with guidance.
Review orders through purchase orders/agreements, contracts, and the Government Purchase Card (GPC).
Establish new procedures needed to accommodate unique program requirements.
Analyze interrelationships of data in different databases to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Coordinate actions with transportation, production, or other supply units.
Perform a wide variety of record keeping, updating manuals on policies, directives, reporting, and informational duties.
Provide guidance to other employees on regulations, policies, and procedures.
Provide administrator support for the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System for the organization.
Determine and establish new procedures needed to accommodate unique program requirements.
Requirements

- This position requires a Forklifting certification.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes maintaining a purchase card; conducting searches for information pertaining to supply transactions and patterns; and extracting data from different databases and publications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
