You will serve as an Administrative Specialist in the Federal Programs Branch with the responsibility for the maintenance of Branch data and related systems and also provides support, guidance and recommendations to directors and other senior management in the areas of office automation, electronic systems and files, data compilation and management, and report preparation. This is not a remote location position.

Duties

The duties and responsibilities for Administrative Specialist, GS-0301-11 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Planning, evaluating, and implementing electronic documents and case management systems. Developing and maintaining electronic filing systems for hundreds of active cases. Designing, implementing and maintaining systems to store and easily identify data, electronic files, and cases. Coordinating information technology-related needs with JCON and the Office of Litigation Support (OLS). Maintaining and updating the Branch's internal website and SharePoint Site. Works with JCON when needed to facilitate maintenance and updates.

Requirements

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Administrative Specialist,GS-0301-11 ,you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to. If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level as listed in the qualifications below. Time-in-Grade applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF-50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information). To qualify for the GS-11 Administrative Specialist position, you must demonstrate that you have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 performing such duties as planning, executing, evaluating and facilitating the full range of administrative programs and operations; managing and maintaining electronic systems and data compilation; and analyzing data and information to recommend appropriate courses of action OR Have a Ph.D or equivalent degree, or successfully completed at least 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR, received an LL.M. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 36. Add the two percentages. You MUST meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
