About the Position: Arlington National Cemetery is located in Arlington, VA. Since May of 1864, Arlington National Cemetery has served as the nation's premier military cemetery and shrine honoring those men and women who served in the Armed Forces.
Duties
Monitor, coordinate, and develop all aspects of training activities of the cemetery as it relates to the cemetery administration/operations programs, scheduling, escorting and burial operations.
Develop and implement regulatory controls dealing with management and training support.
Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs.
Plan and conduct surveys of training courses outlined in the Cemetery Administration/Operation program areas.
Manage the Arlington National cemetery Administration/Operations Training LMS Platform (ACTLP)

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating, tracking and executing Cemetery Representative and Cemetery Responsible Officer training programs; managing employee completion of technical and experiential training requirements; maintaining awareness of evolving policies to ensure the long-term effectiveness and efficiency of cemetery operations; providing subject matter expertise on Cemetery Administration operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
