THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM SUPERVISOR, Position Description Number D2691000 and is part of the CO AASF, National Guard.
Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Army National Guard Facility Commander for the states Unmanned Aircraft System Operating Facility (UASOF) as the Senior Advisor and Subject Matter Expert on all matters pertaining to UAS to include, training, testing, evaluation, maintenance, safety, environmental issues, employment, operation, funding, tactics, acquisition, and UAS doctrine development.
Requirements
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- Must hold the grade of W-1 thru W-3.
- Compatible Military Assignment: 150U MOS.
- Must be a Permanent Dual Status Federal Technician within the AASF.
- Submit all required documentation.

Must have at least 36 months of experience and knowledge in each of the following:
1. Experience and knowledge of airspace management procedures, mission analysis, allocation, distribution, and positioning of resources, air control procedures, tactics and techniques, operating procedures and relationship among air and ground forces.
2. Experience and knowledge of the range of administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the administration and effective command of Aviation Facilities.
3. Experience and knowledge of training concepts and practices and the ability to provide instruction and training that maintains the highest level of combat mission-ready proficient crew members.
4. Experience and knowledge of weapons control fundamentals, meteorology, flying directives and aircraft system operating.
Preferred experience:
- Experience as a UAS Operator/Instructor
Education
Education cannot be substituted for Specialized Experience for this position.
