About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation on Ellsworth AFB. This position is considered regular part time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however could work up to 40 hours per week. As a regular employee you are eligible to earn leave and other NAF Benefits.

Duties

Assists the Outdoor Recreation Manager in the inspection, operation, security and maintenance of a variety of recreational facilities and equipment operations. Opens and closes facilities. Receives, stores, controls and issues recreation supplies and equipment. Checks equipment for damage before issue and upon its return. Performs cleaning, repairs, reassembles and checks equipment. Performs outdoor and indoor maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, cutting grass, shoveling snow, minor maintenance and repair. Assists with cash handling, accounting, daily deposits, office filing, housekeeping, and other related office functions. Collects user fees, prepares daily cash collect reports and safeguards all funds and controlled documents. Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Physical Examination.
• Valid vehicle operator's license is required.
• This is a drug testing designated position.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
